'Finding Felicity' ENCORE: Ep. 15 – ‘Love and Marriage’ (Or, 'It Was Very . . . Felicity')
Welcome to Finding Felicity, a podcast about life, love, and growing up – no matter how old you are – through the lens of the J.J. Abrams/Matt Reeves hit TV show, Felicity.
Finding Felicity launched in September 2018 to mark the 20th Anniversary of Felicity, the hit J.J. Abrams/Matt Reeves TV show that made Keri Russell a star. The original 32 episodes of the podcast were released between September 2018 and October 2020.
Episode 15 of Finding Felicity is titled Love and Marriage (Or, It Was Very…Felicity), because in addition to examining love in all its facets, Noel also acknowledges his girlfriend’s erratic, impulsive behavior as “very….Felicity.” Which is the nicest way to say “mentally unbalanced” ever.
Teresa is joined by pop culture journalist Andrea Levine to talk about how awesome Javier is and how less-than-awesome Noel’s response to his brother is. In this episode, Teresa and Andrea discuss whether or not it’s appropriate for an adult to ask a teenager to marry them to keep them in the country (SPOILER ALERT: It’s not.), whether a character from Spain can be considered Latine representation, and what happens when siblings get to know each other more fully.
