'Finding Felicity' ENCORE: Ep. 17 – 'Assassins' (Or, 'Noel Crane-Future Men’s Rights Activist')
Welcome to Finding Felicity, a podcast about life, love, and growing up – no matter how old you are – through the lens of the J.J. Abrams/Matt Reeves hit TV show, Felicity.
Finding Felicity launched in September 2018 to mark the 20th Anniversary of Felicity, the hit J.J. Abrams/Matt Reeves TV show that made Keri Russell a star. The original 32 episodes of the podcast were released between September 2018 and October 2020.
Episode 17 of Finding Felicity is titled Assassins (Or, Noel Crane: Future Men’s Rights Activist), because Noel is just one fedora away from being exactly the kind of dude you’d find in an MRA subreddit talking about how women actually have all the power and shit all over “nice guys.”
Teresa is joined once again by actor, blogger, and Felicity super-fan Jen Levin (whom you might remember from Episode Two) who is finally, at long last, able to unleash her Noel-hate in full. And with good reason!
Teresa and Jen talk about Noel’s desire to maintain all the control in his relationship with Felicity while expecting the space to “figures things out,” then has the nerve to be mad that Felicity’s upset despite being the cause of their woes in the first place. They also talk about Elena’s badassery, Ben’s realness, and Sean’s creepiness.
