'Finding Felicity' ENCORE: Ep. 13 & 14 – the ‘Todd Mulcahy' Two-Parter!
Welcome to Finding Felicity, a podcast about life, love, and growing up – no matter how old you are – through the lens of the J.J. Abrams/Matt Reeves hit TV show, Felicity.
Finding Felicity launched in September 2018 to mark the 20th Anniversary of Felicity, the hit J.J. Abrams/Matt Reeves TV show that made Keri Russell a star. The original 32 episodes of the podcast were released between September 2018 and October 2020.
Episode 13 of Finding Felicity is titled Todd Mulcahy, Pt. 1 (Or, Motherf*cker Deserved It), because, well, he DID. Todd absolutely deserved what happened to him, and no amount of Mallomars changes that.
Episode 14 of Finding Felicity is titled Todd Mulcahy, Pt. 2 (Or, Just Go Home Already), because [SPOILER ALERT] Todd survived his encounter with a bus and remains in New York and remains annoying. Also, apparently someone wants to marry that? Ugh.
Teresa is joined for both episodes by award-winning filmmaker Jenna Payne. In Episode 13, she and Teresa discuss what a Stalker McStalkerson Todd is, missed opportunities, and why everyone in this episode (except for Felicity and Elena!) was a pile of hot trash (or at least warm trash).
In Episode 14, they discuss the fact that "Todd Mulcahy, Part 2" was J.J. Abrams’ professional directorial debut and chat about his writing and directing in general. They also discuss the disappointing way in which Felicity humors Todd, and the fact that Felicity just seems to get away with everything while Julie gets punished for everything. Must be nice to be the title character on a TV show.
